Four persons were dead in a massacre at Phase 4, Residencia del Rio Subdivision, Catalunan Pequeño, Davao City.
According to S/Supt Vicente Danao Jr., Davao City Police Office Director, it is possible that the brutal killing may have happened at around 3 a.m. Wednesday, Bombo Radyo Philippines reported.
Based on a report published in Sunstar Davao, the victims were identified as Ceasar Ann Sacro Omila, 12; her cousin Philip Sacro, 17; their grandmother Virginia Sacro, 58; and Liezle Burongan, alias Inday Molo, 12, a helper.
According to Senior Inspector Milgrace Driz, Davao City Police Office (DCPO) spokesperson, the four victims died to multiple stab wounds.
Omila was a student of the Holy Child in Mintal, while Sacro was studying at the Catalunan Pequeño National High School in Davao City.
Initial investigation of Davao City Police said that their primary suspect (at the moment) is Ramon Curray, 47, as they found a cut on his arms.
Curray is said to be the live-in partner of Vijealine Sacro Omila, the 12-year-old victim's mother.
But Curray, a call center agent of the SutherLand, denied the allegation and said he just arrived home Wednesday to find the victims' bloodied bodies.
"There were reports na hindi na nagpapadala ng pera yung kanyang live-in partner (referring to Vijealine) na nasa Japan. Meron ding nagsabi na parang naalibadbaran na daw yung suspect dun sa apat na biktima na di niya ka anu-ano," Driz said.
Investigation is still ongoing and the authorities are also looking for possible accomplices of the said massacre.
