2025 Salary Grade Update for Government Employees in the Philippines

Salary Grade of Government Employees in the Philippines 2025

Good news to all public servants! The Salary Standardization Law VI (SSL VI) has entered its second tranche in January 2025, giving public school teachers and government employees another salary increase. This is part of the government's multi-year compensation adjustment plan for civil servants in the Philippines.

🔍 What is SSL VI?

The Salary Standardization Law VI is a law that gradually increases the salaries of government workers from 2024 to 2027. It covers civilian employees in national agencies, local government units (LGUs), state universities and colleges (SUCs), and constitutional commissions. It also applies to uniformed personnel under a separate pay scale.

📅 What’s Next?

The SSL VI will continue with two more scheduled increases:

  • Tranche 3 – January 2026
  • Tranche 4 – January 2027

📣 Final Thoughts
