Here's the latest update about PEI (Productivity Enhancement Incentive) for teachers as of June 15, 2016. Plus, the teachers' salary increase 2016. Read for more info...
It's definitely a good news for all teachers who have been waiting for the release of the PEI and the answer to the question "how much is the PEI for teachers?" is already here.
As of today, June 15, 2015, a teacher's group called on the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) to release public school teachers' long-delayed bonus or the Productivity Enhancement Incentive (PEI).
Members of the Alliance of Concerned Teachers-National Capital Region (ACT-NCR) held a picket-dialogue at the DBM office in Manila to also ask for the long-needed salary increase of both teaching and non-teaching personnel.
Department of Education (DepEd) is entitled for 1 month salary PEI according to Asec. Chua and Dir. Egay Macaranas. The PEI for DepEd personnel is ready for release and will be received by the teachers within this month.
Department of Budget and Management is currently drafting a bill which includes the budget allocation for 2016 and is ready for budget deliberation by July or August. It is still uncertain how much will be the increase for the salary of teachers but the possibility is great that the increase will be granted on 2016.
According to ACT Teachers - Philippines, the promise of DBM/DepEd is not enough. The Alliance of Concerned Teachers with the help of the teachers in the Department of Education will still do the necessary works in order to hasten the release of the PEI and the fulfillment of the promised salary increase.

if the mooe liquidation for each school will be included in the criteria for higher pbb then the teachers with school heads who use mooe for personal enjoyment will be most affected.Hopefully, the effect of mooe liquidation failure or late submission will only affect the School Heads
