After Casting His Vote, What Duterte Promised that Made Those BEIs Smile

Mayor Rodrigo Duterte casted his vote in his polling precinct at Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High School (DRANHS) in Davao City, a little past 2 pm on Monday, May 9. He made a promise to the serving BEIs (mostly public school teachers) and they were all in BIG SMILES.

What made rounds on social media as of this moment is the post of one of the BEIs (Board of Election Inspector) who served the mayor (now the President) during the casting of vote.
It was an honor to be one of the BEIs who served the next President of our country. We are all smiles after he voted because this is what he told the teachers:
To hear that from a man who had always been true to his word is so overwhelming. Thank you Mayor ‪#‎Duterte‬ for your high regard for us teachers. Thank you because you included us among your priorities.
Mabuhay ang lahat ng guro sa Pilipinas!!!
What Mayor Duterte, now the President of the Philippines has promised to these teachers?

(Thanks to all of you. Don't worry, I will just prioritize the police and the military so that we can surely fight against corruption. You (teachers) will be the next to enjoy an increased salary.)

"To hear that from a man who had always been true to his word is so overwhelming", Sej Cagumbay, serving as BEI in Duterte's polling precinct, wrote in her post.

The post has become viral and being shared in different Facebook groups where teachers are mostly the members.

Teachers, what can you say about these words from our new president, President Rodrigo Duterte?

  1. God Bless You, Tatay Digong, our one and only President Duterte.
