A video that was uploaded in DeLorean Facebook page has this caption: "Unbelievable stuff, I'M SPEECHLESS !!! That is an anaconda and that kid should not be riding or sleeping with it! Omgoosh."
The video of the kid with the "anaconda" has become viral with more than 5 million views, 39 thousand likes and 187 thousand shares on Facebook.
A lot of netizens shared their thoughts or opinions about this weird video and as of the time of writing this post, it already accumulated 9,867 comments.
Upon further research, we've learned that the huge snake is actually not an Anaconda but Rock Python.
The snake has the scientific name Python sebae, commonly known as African rock python.
According to Wikipedia, African rock python is a large, nonvenomous snake of Sub-Saharan Africa. The African rock python is one of seven species in the genus Python.
Anaconda or not, but this is really a huge snake of about 5 meters long. Some netizens find this kid-snake interaction as cute but others said it's awful and very dangerous to all the people living on that house.
Anaconda and python are different. Anaconda belongs to genus Eunectes, a group of large, aquatic snakes found in South America while Python is another genus of largest snakes in the world.
