The 2nd death anniversary of Corazon "Cory" Aquino is on August 1, 2011. Corazon Aquino is the first lady president of the Republic of the Philippines and know to be the purveyor of democracy. She was one of the prominent personalities in 1986 People Power Revolution in EDSA which ended the Marcos dictatorship.
